Overview
Review of the evolution of dose reduction & image quality for a single Consultants CTCA practice from 2019–2025 at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The period illustrates the evolution of a cardiac CT service from helical acquisition on early Cardiac capable machine installed in 2012 through to modern Volume scanners installed in 2024. The data shows the material improvements in dose/image quality & workflow achieved across an internally consistent data set (same Trust/Consultant practice/Cohort of patients but over 4 evolving scanners & 5 years).
