Overview
Die Gesellschaft für Kinder- und Jugendrheumatologie (GKJR) hat mit dem Diagnose- und Therapieoptimierungsboard ein neues Format zur expertenbasierten Diskussion von seltenen und komplexen Erkrankungen entwickelt. Bislang konnten in 8 Konferenzen 32 Fälle – überwiegend aus den Bereichen Hyperinflammation, systemischer Lupus erythematodes, Myositis und nichtbakterielle Osteomyelitis – besprochen werden. Das digitale Format ermöglicht eine hohe Teilnehmerzahl und die Beteiligung nationaler und internationaler Expertinnen und Experten. Seltene Erkrankungen stellen die moderne Medizin zunehmend vor Herausforderungen, denen sich die GKJR mit dem neuen Format stellt.
