Lorna specialises in the diagnosis, assessment and management of complex communication and swallowing disorders in neurological conditions and acquired brain injury. For over a decade she held a Clinical Specialist NHS role at The National Hospital forNeurology & Neurosurgery in London and is now the founder and lead of a private practice, Illuminate Speech Therapy. Lorna has expertise in Functional speech and swallowing disorders and is a contributing author to the consensus recommendations for Speech and Language Therapists in this clinical area.Why do we need Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) in FND services?
