Overview
This paper explores the sustainability strategies of two leading global beverage companies, Coca-Cola HBC and PepsiCo, aiming to clarify the practices they implement to integrate the principles of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and the Triple Bottom Line (TBL). The study focuses on linking theoretical sustainability models with the companies' practices, documenting their approaches to environmental protection, social issues, and governance. Furthermore, the paper discusses the challenges these companies face in applying sustainable strategies at an international level, as well as the risks associated with their environmental and social impacts. Through a comparative analysis of their strategies, common points and differences are highlighted, and best practices are suggested to enhance sustainability within the beverage sector.
