Overview
[...] it may be better to think of it less as a new subject than a different perspective on history. In addition, the Industrial Revolution needs recurrent attention in connection with other topics, such as imperialism (standard 10.4) and World War I (standards 10.5 and 10.6). *In the tenth grade, one could plan to save one week at the end of the second semester to look at the twentieth century from a big history perspective.
