Overview
THE Isles of Scilly, for which the Prince of Wales, as Duke of Cornwall, sails today (Friday), used to send immense quantities of flowers-- millions of blooms-- across to the mainland, but, comparatively recently, the industry, for various reasons, has shown serious signs of decay, and the present season has been the worst for thirty years, though Nature has a wonderful way of compensation, and probably there will be a record export of early potatoes.
