Overview
Motherwell Society chief Graham Barnstaple admits membership has'plateaued' in recent months and has urged more Steelmen to get on board in order to meet the target of full fan ownership of Motherwell FC. Currently the Well Society has around 1150 members and raised Pounds 420,000 with the overall ambition to reach Pounds 1.5million which would allow them to gain the majority shareholding of former chairman John Boyle and cover financial shortfalls for three seasons. \"It is a challenge at the moment, more challenging than anyone on the board thought. We have plateaued and need to get the second spurt to help us move forward.\" \"Supporters expect top six every year now and to have done that recently with the budget we are on is incredible.\" Barnstaple admitted.
