Overview
O'Neill's, the popular Irish pub and eatery, is turning back the clock to celebrate its 80th anniversary on Wednesday. Beers will be 10 cents to commemorate the first day O'Neill's opened its doors on Dec. 5, 1933. That day also marked the end of Prohibition so the bar will be serving specials from that era. Originally opened as the Plateau Tavern by George O'Neill, the facility is still a family affair, operated by George O'Neill Jr. and his son-in-law Danny Pyle.
