Overview
\"I love that this conference gives us the opportunity to bring out all the dynamic women that are individually doing things in the community,\" said Rialto Mayor Deborah Robertson. \"While we are not the only players in our community, oftentimes women do not get recognized for their role of significance in their community.\" \"But most of all,\" [Kristina Rose] said, \"refuse to be silent. Speak out about abuse and violence. If you're confronted by it in your daily life, say something about it. Don't be tolerant of that. \"This is my first time attending and I think it's fabulous,\" said Dorothea Manns of Pomona. \"People tend to stay in their own bubble but it's important for everyone to come together and see what's going on.\"
