Overview
He wished it hadn't happened, what had happened to the family, which was to go down financially. It wasn't happy and he didn't want that chronicled. They hadn't recovered from the war and what was ahead was something they didn't understand at all. It was the beginning of the financial world, of an aggressive, financial competition. They couldn't understand that and I have some sympathy. I'm doing mad things! Because I've been ill, I can't travel, alas, but I've just written a play based on a 1927 trial. What am I going to do with it?
