'As a result it has been decided to hold a County Board meeting on Wednesday, September 16, in the Riverside Park Hotel to discuss fixtures and if possible find solutions to the logjam that arises at this time of year.' Items expected to be discussed include: fixtures plan; player burn-out/number of games; under-age fixtures affecting adult fixtures; Under-21 hurling and football championships; schools/ colleges; county teams.
