Friday's news conference was followed by a \"swearing-in\" ceremony and a tour of vehicles modified for [Lupe] and Dozer. Modifications to the vehicles included the removal of the vehicles' back seating area and the installation of a dog bed and water bowl. \"One of the toughest jobs - and probably one of the most important jobs we do at the District Attorney's Office,\" [Mike Ramos] said at a news conference at his downtown office, \"is seeking justice for our most vulnerable victims, our children. And a part of that process is getting into the courtroom ... it's scary. That's why it is so important for us to have these ... dogs to help to assist them to get through so we can get the truth, no matter what that truth may be.\"
