Overview
A: That was scary. We don't get to see the judges before the show so the first time I actually go to see Norm Macdonald, Keenen Ivory Wayans and Roseanne Barr was when I walked out on stage. So the first thing I did was think, \"Oh my God I'm star struck, now I have to do my job.\" It was a weird clash of like, \"This is so exciting,\" and \"Compose yourself, you don't get to actually talk to them.\" I did like it though. If I ever ran into them on the street there's no way they'd want me to tell them a joke. A: That's kind of how I started, doing jokes like that, but as I've done comedy, I've done more stories or even singing and off the cuff stuff. I've evolved to doing more than just that but when it comes to TV, that stuff just plays so well and it's so easy to time your set that just telling a bunch of one-liners just makes for a good showcase. You can fit in more jokes and pack more of a punch than just telling one or two stories. In an actual show it will be less one-liners but still a bunch of them. A: It opens up a lot of doors, you get more attention, you also have this sweet credit so you can get paid more on the road. But you just have a whole lot more fans and friends. Like I've got so many more Twitter followers and Facebook followers. The other day I posted, \"Does anyone have any cat photos to share with me?\" I just wanted to see some cats and I got like 50 different cat pictures. I was like, \"This is awesome.\"
