Overview
\"The biggest issue they've had is drainage,\" said Darci Hendon, a civil engineer with Ayers Associates, which created the early designs for the street. Between Creighton and Bishop, Evers would have the same amenities in the northern section, but with the addition of a 12-foot wide \"bioswale\" in the center of the road, flanked by two feet of curb on either side. The elements in the entire design come from what Hendon called a \"context sensitive approach,\" in which Ayers Associates developed the plan for the street largely based on input from residents in the area.
