Overview
\"I don't understand why you're forcing this on us. We don't want it,\" asserted Jessie Avenue resident Nancy Guitard - a statement that was met with a round of applause from the audience. \"What made you think that I don't know how to drive? We know how to drive. I've never seen anybody who lives in this subdivision fly through the stop signs.\" \"I don't think I ever suggested you don't know how to drive,\" said Town Senior Manager of Infrastructure John Brophy. \"These are all technical issues we're trying to deal with here. We're trying to provide proper sight line distances at that intersection.\" \"We know there are sight line issues at that corner, but everybody adjusts accordingly,\" said [Ron McKerron]. \"We do not see the sight line deficiencies as a significant safety problem. They're an irritant, but not a significant problem. We live on the escarpment - there's sight line issues almost everywhere. It's the nature of the geography.\"
