Overview
He claimed members had \"some kind of problem with Jews\". In response, Oxford University's Jewish Society highlighted a number of incidents it claimed demonstrated how Labour has \"become increasingly dominated by the radical student left in recent weeks and months\". In response the Israeli Embassy in London slammed \"anti-Semitism masdi liihilhb querading as politics\", while the Labour Party backed an internal probe into alleged racism among left-wing students. Following [Alex Chalmers]'s resignation, other OULC members came forward with worrying reports of anti-Semitic behaviour. That led to Oxford's Jewish Society releasing testimony from a number of Jewish students. The OULC responded by saying it took allegations of anti-Semitism \"very seriously\" and vowed they would be dealt with \"swiftly and lastingly\".
