Allen J. Lynch Medal of Honor Veterans Foundation is hosting the second annual \"Swinging for the Vets\" Golf Outing from 12:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at the White Deer Country Club, in Vernon Hills. Lynch served with the 1st Cavalry in Vietnam, where he earned the Medal of Honor. Allen served four Illinois attorney generals as chief of the Veterans Rights Bureau.
