\"It's pretty cool,\" said [Josh Adams], who noted that Cobourg native and Stanley Cup champion Justin Williams was a previous winner of the award. \"Not a lot of kids from around here win it.\" \"If I didn't make Junior C, I might be playing in a men's league,\" he said with a chuckle. \"I was definitely disappointed when I was cut from Port Hope, (but) I showed everyone I can go.\" \"Having the 'C' on my chest, I took care of a lot of things a rookie usually wouldn't,\" he said. \"I just led by example. I'm usually a pretty calm hockey player, (so) it was just my presence.\"
