Overview
Let's see if we can discern a pattern here. A Democratic president appeases China; Bob Barr calls for an investigation. A Republican president appeases China; Barr is silent. Democratic presidential staffers allegedly steal the \"W\" keys off computers; Barr calls for an investigation. Republican congressional staffers disrupt the electoral process in Florida; Barr is silent. Republican congressmen admit to adulterous affairs; Barr is silent. Democratic congressman admits to affair; Barr calls for his resignation. Regarding Public Editor Mike King's column on newspaper bias (\"Explanations don't ease readers' views of bias,\" July 14): As a regular reader of The Atlanta Journal and many other periodicals and online daily newspapers as well, I am absolutely floored by the oft- heard, but never proven, stereotype of liberal bias. Maybe, just maybe, the AJC readers are right. What does it matter that the editorial staff doesn't talk to the newsroom people if the corporate culture determines attitudes and behavior? Frankly, I think your liberal, feminist, black/ lesbian rights activist Cynthia Tucker is mostly indistinguishable from the Journal-Constitution news writers with their obvious liberal, feminist, black rights and lesbian rights activism and politically correct polemics, whether they exchange daily notes or not.
