Overview
Cal and Cindy Turner of C.C. Turner Ministries in Colorado Springs will present a benefit concert, \"What a Wonderful World!,\" to help a 10-year-old Panama girl, Haley Mathis, who is battling cancer. Woodrow Kroll, president of Back to the Bible, will be the main speaker at a Praise Celebration Sept. 30 for Good News Jail and Prison Ministries. The event at the Rococo Theatre, 140 N. 13th St., will begin with a dinner at 6:30 p.m. followed by a program featuring Kroll and presentations by Dave Johnson, chaplain at the Lancaster County Juvenile Detention Center, and Dan Morgan, chaplain at the Lancaster County Jail. Former inmates of the county's correctional facilities will give testimonies.
