Overview
The company's parcels, on the east edge of El Paso along U.S. 24, dropped in value by 45 percent. Last year, the parcels were assessed at $1,138,630; this year, they're valued at $621,800. \"We (the district) don't have any options,\" said Superintendent Bill James. \"DuPont had their hearing and received the reassessment. We hope the overall assessed values throughout the area will make up for this lost revenue.\"
