Overview
World War II veteran Larry Davidson bet a friend at his VFW post a beer that the war would be over by Monday, and given the performance of Saddam Hussein's army in recent days, Davidson fully expects to collect. Davidson doesn't believe defeating Saddam's army and humiliating the Iraqi leader is enough. Allied troops should push on to Baghdad, capture Saddam and put him on trial for war crimes. Davidson, who is the commander of VFW Post 1753, dismissed Saddam's announcement he was withdrawing his forces from Kuwait as \"just another one of his tricks.\"
