Charlotte gets revenge, title in edging Pueblo

Overview
Cliff Reid's 1-yard touchdown run gave Charlotte a 24-18 overtime win over Pueblo in the second MLFS championship before 3,543 fans at Clark Stadium. Pueblo kicker Scott Segrist missed three field goals, the last from 49 yards in OT. Segrist, who played for the defunct Colorado Springs Spirit in 1989, also hit kicks of 24, 28 and 32 yards. The Crusaders, 21-14 winners over the Spirit for the first MLFS title, rallied with a Marshall Foreman touchdown in the final minute to tie Sunday's game at 18. Pueblo quarterback Alfred Jenkins led the 63-yard drive that took less than two minutes.
