Overview
Tonight's match will be the first time since his father's death that Barnett returns to competition. [Kevin Barnett]'s brother, [Keith Barnett], 23, a U.S. national B team member, will be among the spectators at World Arena. Then, just three weeks later, the stunning news. Kevin, the U.S. team's leading scorer after the split with the Netherlands May 19- 20, hasn't played since then. While it has been an emotional time, Kevin anticipates no problems getting back on the volleyball court, or coping with Father's Day next week. What it means: USA's final match in Colorado Springs. The U.S. team travels to the Netherlands next for the final preliminary round match. Top two teams in each four-team pool advance to the final round.
