Overview
Correction A Sept. 15 story misidentified the owner of the Courtyard Shops of Encino shopping center. Doerken Properties Inc. is the new owner. A West Los Angeles-based developer purchased the Courtyard Shops of Encino for $12 million and will soon revamp the Ventura Boulevard shopping center, the developer said Tuesday. Officials with Renovationi Properties Inc. said they like the 113,462-square-foot facility because it is in the heart of Encino's retail corridor and is close to the Ventura Freeway via White Oak Avenue and Balboa Boulevard.
