Overview

Mother's Day was last Sunday. The following Wednesday, I received in the mail an advertisement card from the U.S. Postal Service stating, \"Express Mail: Overnight delivery for those last-minutes gifts. We even deliver on Sunday. So your Mother's Day gift can actually arrive on Mother's Day.\" Children should be taught to understand that the lesson within [Madonna]'s image is one of resilience and self-reliance. The sexuality she exudes and sometimes exploits is but a reflection of what we have become as a society. Madonna, as a single parent, is sure to raise a successful, strong child regardless of the mother's marital status. While reading \"Middle-class blues\" I kept hoping to find some mention of the reasons why we \"have more, but seem to work harder to keep it.\" The symptom of the disease with which we all are infected is inflation. The causes of the disease are the debauchery of our money supply by removing it from the gold and silver standard, the government spending vastly more than it confiscates in taxes and borrowing trillions of dollars, and academia perpetuating the lie that inflation is caused by rising prices and wages. The cure is self-evident.
