Overview
A slight limp was evident as [Sam Shepherd] accepted congratulations from his [Jacobs] teammates. Shepherd (23 carries, 243 yards) scored from 11 yards out to give Jacobs a 7-0 lead 41 seconds before halftime. Neither side could score again until Shepherd's long TD three plays into the final period opened the floodgates. [Joe Saxton] delivered a crushing sack on Grayslake's next possession and Kyle Cook recovered a fumbled snap on the next play. Joel Mackintosh (13-for-75 rushing) scored from the 9 with 1:42 remaining.
