Overview
On the track, [Fremd] earned its best finish in the 440-shuttle hurdle relay. Led by juniors Kyle Terry and Rob Hoch, the Vikings held off second place [Conant] and senior Fred Taylor Taylor edged out Hoch earlier in the day in the 300 intermediate hurdles. The Vikings got a taste of their own medicine in the 1,600 relay as [Jacobs] and senior Sam Shepherd took the race in a season's best 3:27.2. Mike Connolly, Aaron Russo, and Evan Jager teamed up with Shepherd for the win. Shepherd, Connolly, Pat Brennan and Jason Arient teamed for a win in the 800 relay. Shepherd started his day with a fourth-place finish as a member of the Golden Eagles' 400 relay.
