Overview
\"[Ben Martindale]'s contract is for three years, and his (personal) goal is at the end of that three years he's handing it back to a regular superintendent,\" school board member W. Guy Finley said. \"I think there's an outside chance it could be before then.\" \"Quite frankly, in my mind, the easiest part is getting the district's finances ironed out. That's black and white,\" he said. \"The rest of this stuff is what Ben is going to be looking at and assessing.\" \"I think the fact that the board of education was so involved in selecting Dr. Martindale was a big step toward that,\" she said. \"We've got real good board members right now. They're very fiscally aware of what's going on. They ask all the right questions, so I would say, yes, we're ready.\"
