Overview
Of all people, Florida's No. 9 hitter, Josh Adams -- who was hitting .216 coming in -- is the one that got [Sam Dyson] (5-5) and the Gamecocks. From there, the Gamecocks ran into Florida's staunch bullpen again. The Gators, who held USC to one run in 5 2/3 innings Thursday, kept South Carolina off the board in the final 3 2/3 innings Friday. The Gamecocks haven't hosted a regional since 2007. They'll do that, but they haven't hosted a super regional since 2004 -- the school's last trip to the College World Series.
