Overview
[Joseph Conte] ordered that Wood remain held on $125,000 bail. He also forbade her to have any contact - in person, by telephone, or by mail - with her husband, 62-year-old Zlatko Wood, whom authorities say she wanted dead. Wood is accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill her husband by pushing him into the path of a train and making the death appear accidental, authorities said on Tuesday shortly after her arrest. They said she offered him half of a $50,000 life insurance policy once he completed the killing. She is charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
