Overview
The amateur actors and 16 non-professional backstage crew were chosen to work alongside RSC staff during an eight day bootcamp to put on the classic Roman revenge tragedy, Thyestes, at the Other Place Theatre from Sunday to Wednesday. He said: 'My wife and I are keen theatre-goers and like nothing better than watching a good play in Birmingham and Malvern. 'Acting on stage was always something I wanted to do but never got round to.' He will drawon his experiences of working as an extra in recent months for forthcoming British films, Lighthouse Hill and Spivs.
