Overview
Juliana's great-grandfather was one of the territory's largest sheep ranchers; her paternal grandfather served as mayor of Albuquerque and was a delegate to the Mexican parliament; her maternal grandfather was the territory's first governor under Mexican rule. [Mary P. Davis] and [David Brugge] write that May Helene's assets in the 1920s list 40 acres of vineyard and orchard, 165 acres of alfalfa and hay, 10 acres in a truck garden, 70 acres in pasture and seven acres unplowed. HISTORIC HACIENDA: Work to reclaim the historical features of Hubbell House at 6029 Isleta SW will be filmed by HGTV as part of its \"Restore America A Salute to Preservation\" programs.; EVOLUTION: The windows, small-paned sash to tall sash to small-paned casements, represent the development of wood windows over a century.; JUST LIKE OLD TIMES: A hanging lamp on the front porch will come down as will ceiling fans and gas heaters inside the house.
