Overview
The MuzikMafia record label is formed around a crew of folks who, though they may fit into the country world, they don't do it so well. Take Cowboy Troy, who's a 6-foot-5 black rapping cowboy, or Two Foot Fred, a 3-foot-2 dancing dwarf, Rachel Kice who paints during the songs, or even superstars Big and Rich, and of course, Gretchen Wilson who broke many glam-girl rules of country when she declared herself a redneck woman. A large portion of the Mafia, including [Jon Nicholson], Cowboy Troy, Two Foot Fred, James Otto, stage painter Kice, and Shannon Lawson, will be performing at the Inn of the Mountain Gods in Mescalero at 8 tonight. The Mafia, though, were started when the four founders, The Godfathers as they call themselves, were simply having beers at a Nashville watering hole where Gretchen Wilson was the bartender, Nicholson said.
