Overview
The family of murder victim Lee Harvey celebrated with Champagne yesterday, saying killer Tracie Andrews should rot in hell after she lost her bid for freedom. Mr Harvey's family toasted their son's life in a London pub moments after three Law Lords dismissed Andrews' appeal against her conviction for murder. It is estimated that Andrews' appeal cost the taxpayer around pounds 20,000 in Legal Aid on top of the pounds 170,000 it cost to stage her four-week trial at Birmingham Crown Court last year.
