Overview
Scotland's strictest Christian church, the 'Wee Frees', claims Mr [Robin Cook]'s affair with secretary Gaynor Regan has made his Cabinet position untenable. The minister said Mr Cook's private life was undermining his credibility abroad, where marriage is a respected institution. He said despite Mr Cook's position in the Government, he must face the wrath of God. Writing in the March issue of the Free Presbyterian Magazine, [Rev Neil Ross], the editor, says Mr Cook has behaved in an unethical manner. He said: \"Ethics, like charity, must begin at home, something that is conspicuously absent in the case of Mr Cook, for he has been unfaithful to his wife and taken a mistress.
