Overview
Although his wife holds the licence, the set-up is very much on a equal footing as [Terry Biddlecombe], less than delicately, puts it: \"We're a partnership - an assistant doesn't sleep with the trainer! Biddlecombe has tasted success in and out of the saddle in the Gold Cup, having also ridden 100-8 chance Woodland Venture to victory for Fred Rimell in 1967. During his career as a top notch National Hunt pilot, Biddlecombe rode 908 winners between 1958 and his retirement from the saddle in 1974.
