DAMILOLA TAYLOR'S favourite hymns will be sung at his memorial service today, which would have been his 11th birthday. Obadayode [Pastor Owolabi], who will lead the service at the Nigerian Pentecostal Church in Peckham, said that Abide With Me, Blessed Assurance and Rock of Ages will be sung. A thousand people are expected, including Home Secretary Jack Straw, Peckham MP Harriet Harman and the Mayor of London Ken Livingstone. Every MP and some members of the royal family are believed to have been invited. Damilola, his mother Gloria and his brother and sister have been regulars in pastor Owolabi's congregation. Damilola also attended the sunday school. \"The [Taylor] family would come here with Damilola not just on Sundays, but for some of the midweek services as well. Damilola sometimes attended the Arts Fellowship meetings in the evenings.\"
