Overview
Annick Marchand, the Quebec City Carnaval director of marketing, apologized for any offence caused by an ice sculpture depicting a Ukrainian Shylock at Christmas. The image presented a stereotype of ages gone by when thousands upon thousands of Jews were killed by Ukrainians and other Europeans.
