Overview
Around 35 minutes later, it is interesting to note that Len Lungo has decided to send Mirjan trundling south from his border base to Sandown in the hope of winning the listed hurdle event. Mirjan likes to be the dominant force in the partnership between man and mount, but Tony Dobbin is expected to employ strong tactics this afternoon, and Mirjan is tentatively taken to go in. It is common knowledge that the Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham in March is the event at which Edredon Bleu is being primed and prepared, but there are a few races along the way which carry esteem as well as wads of the folding stuff which can be scooped up along the way. The Tingle Creek Chase at San-down this afternoon is a case in point, and although it is anticipated that Edredon Bleu will prove triumphant, success may only come his way following a struggle such as he has not faced for some time.
