Overview
[Brian Redman], a legendary road racer of the late-'60s and early '70s, has driven countless cars to victories and championships in numerous races since he last saw that GT40. But he'll have the chance to reacquaint himself with the car for the GT40 Reunion feature of the International Challenge vintage racing weekend. \"If there are other older professional drivers, as there will be this weekend at Elkhart Lake, they are just the same,\" Redman said. \"And you've always got a number of drivers who are anxious to be able to say that they've beaten Bob Bondourant or Brian Redman.\" Redman got into vintage racing a decade ago and has seen its popularity zoom. People seem to like the exotic racing machines of the '60s and '70s, when each car was distinctive. And they love to see them still being raced.
