Overview
[Brian Redman], a three-time US Formula 5000 champion in the mid-1970s and the IMSA Camel GT champion in 1981, is one of several former world-class drivers who will compete this weekend in the Como Inn Presents The International Challenge at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis. \"At the front of all vintage fields, you've always got five guys who are competitive,\" says Redman, who also has driven a '67 Lola T70 MK III, a '71 Chevron B19 and a '73 Lola T330 Formula 5000 in vintage races. Redman has been involved in vintage racing for about a decade. He last drove in a professional race at Road America in 1986, but in the mid-1970s, he had four victories in three seasons there, driving a Lola 332 owned by Carl Haas.
