PORTO ALEGRE (Reuters) - A deputada federal Yeda Crusius (PSDB) venceu o ex-ministro Olívio Dutra (PT) na eleição deste domingo e será a próxima governadora do Rio Grande do Sul. É a primeira vez que o PSDB estará à frente do Executivo gaúcho e que o comando do Estado será de responsabilidade de uma mulher. O resultado confirmou o favoritismo de Yeda Crusius, apontado em todas as pesquisas de intenção de voto para o segundo turno. A tendência de crescimento de Dutra (PT) e de redução de mais de 20 por cento na vantagem da tucana, detectada em três levantamentos sucessivos, chegou a animar a militância petista, mas não foi ratificada pelas urnas. Durante a campanha eleitoral, a crise econômica do Estado foi o centro do debate. A tucana enfatizou seu desejo de implantar um ``novo jeito de governar'' e rebateu as críticas do adversário, a quem acusou de ser representante de uma velha forma de fazer política e ser responsável pela perda de investimentos, como a instalação de uma fábrica da Ford.
