For example, the new Richmond School is a national demonstration project for sustainability, which incorporates a range of environmental features designed to reduce the school's carbon emissions, including the use of renewable energy such as biomass.\" \"We have already introduced a hugely popular scheme in North Yorkshire libraries, in which people can borrow energy consumption monitors free of charge to help them work out how they can cut their electricity bills. As well as reducing carbon emissions in the generation of electricity, they'll also be helping themselves by saving money.\"
