Overview
Sandy Springs: Responses to Fulton County Commissioner Emma Darnell's Equal Time column \"Consider all Fulton's people,\" @issue, May 6 I teach a college course on religion and architecture in the Middle Ages. A major theme of the course is that a society builds what it values. People in the 12th century built soaring structures like Notre Dame Cathedral that were distinct from everyday buildings. They were meant to inspire reverence. What is the Buckhead structure meant to inspire? CAPTION: Emma Darnell, a Fulton County commissioner, has blasted the push to make Sandy Springs a city because blacks in south Fulton will suffer.
