Overview
The federal NDP is holding nomination meetings for three Regina- area ridings and will also feature leader Jack Layton speaking at the Centre of the Arts. The NDP's nomination meetings today are for Palliser and Regina Qu'Appelle, where incumbent MPs Dick Proctor and Lorne Nystrom are unchallenged. Two candidates -- Erin Weir and Kaitlin Stocks -- are facing off for the NDP's Wascana nomination. The Liberals will have at least two people vying for the nomination, including former NDP MLA Lindy Kasperski and Regina realtor Blair Herbert.
