Overview
[Ernie Ousey], 80, and his wife Marion re-affirmed their Christian beliefs with a confirmation service held in the chapel at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday. It was conducted by the Right Rev. Robert Townshend, Anglican bishop of Georgian Bay, and arranged by a team of pastoral care workers at the BGH. Kathy McLellan Lant, a chaplain at the Brant Community HealthCare System, Rev. Mirella VanderZyl, co-ordinator of pastoral care at the healthcare system, and Rev. Sue McCullough at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in St. George worked together to make Ousey's dream of confirmation a reality. Photo: Christopher Smith, Expositor Staff / Right Rev.
