I find that hard to believe,\" said [Gary Daniels]. \"It was more like six cents, three cents.\" SIGA officials refused to divulge the number of Dakota Dunes' patrons, saying it will issue a news release later in the week. The casino was caught off-guard by the overwhelming numbers, says Daniels. At times during the opening, the voucher-redemption terminals wouldn't pay people their earnings, saying there were insufficient funds in the machines. Daniels says the machines had cash in them, but they wouldn't pay out when the number of coins was running low. Those machines are being monitored more closely, he says.
