Overview
On CTV, Channel 9, January 31, my daughter, her two children and I watched \"The See Through Man\", an episode of the \"Avengers\" series. In some scenes, the invisible man was depicted by an empty set of clothes walking around. Yet in other scenes, there were no clothes at all -- it was obvious the man must be naked. I have never been so disgusted and promptly switched the television off. Mrs. [D. Ritchie], in expressing her protest of an episode of the \"Avengers\" television series in her letter of February 7, described an invisible man walking about with no clothes on and actually used the word \"naked\". I have never been so disgusted and promptly tore the paper up. When the editor of the Hamilton Spectator sanctions filth of this kind for the reading of teenagers, many of whom I am sure read your \"Letters To The Editor\" column, something must be wrong in Hamilton. It is your duty to urge action to prevent such trash as this from dirtying the morals of our children.
