Obituary: Billy N. Jensen

Overview
Billy served in both the Army and Air Force having been awarded a silver star, a bronze star and three purple hearts for extraordinary acts of bravery during the Korean War. He retired from the Air Force with an honorable discharge after more than 20 years of service. Billy served an additional 20 years as a law enforcement officer in Brigham City, Utah and has served in numerous callings in the LDS Church, including Branch President, a church Service Mission in Keflavik, Iceland and many years in Scouting leadership positions. He held his private Pilot's license and was the Commander of the Golden Spike Squadron Civil Air Patrol for 10 Years. He earned a B.A. degree from Weber Sate College while rearing his family. Billy and [Marilyn Carter Jensen] were foster parents for abused and neglected infants and children for many years.
